Conservation Alliance of Saint Lucie County
The Conservation Alliance of Saint Lucie County was established in 1972 by local citizens who were becoming aware of the growing threat to our natural resources and environment.
Our success
FORT PIERCE INLET STATE PARK
Our work in 1972 resulted in the establishment of Fort Pierce Inlet State Park—saving this land from condo development.
JOHN BROOKS BEACH
We helped secure passage of a $10 million bond fund to purchase 6 beaches in St. Lucie County, including John Brooks Beach in 1989.
